Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Trinamool government during his visit to Debra in Ghatal. Shah confidently stated, "This time BJP is going to get 30 seats in Bengal and after that they will selectively put the anarchists here in jail." His remarks targeted the alleged lawlessness in the state and promised stringent actions against those responsible.
Shah also criticized the alliance leaders, accusing them of nepotism. He claimed, "All the leaders in the alliance are dreaming of making their family members the Prime Minister."
